Jim Papandrea is Professor of Church History and Historical Theology at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois. He hosts "The Original Church," an online ecumenical community of readers interested in early Christian history. He also hosts "The Way of the Fathers," a very popular podcast on Catholic Culture's platform. He is a speaker much in demand, and he leads regular pilgrimages to Rome. In academic circles, he is counted among the foremost experts on Christian Rome in the third century. He is the author of many books, and has a strong following among both Protestants and Catholics. He is a convert to the Catholic faith.
