Cada voz presenta una síntesis de los contenidos del concilio sobre esa materia, como paso necesario y previo a un análisis posterior más especializado. Quiere ser un instrumento útil para una iniciación teológica en el magisterio conciliar, accesible a un público amplio.
El Diccionario expone los temas principales para facilitar la lectura personal, o para la preparación de sesiones, charlas, breves cursos o seminarios sobre el concilio, con referencias bibliográficas para su eventual ampliación, dando preferencia a los idiomas más familiares al lector de lengua española.
La claridad de los textos fue un reto que nos planteamos, al mismo tiempo que éramos conscientes de la necesidad de mantener una gran seriedad en la exposición, sin reducir la inevitable complejidad de algunos temas.

The Dictionary outlines key themes to facilitate personal study or the preparation of sessions, talks, short courses, or seminars on the Council. It includes bibliographic references for further reading, prioritizing languages most familiar to Spanish-speaking readers.
We set ourselves the challenge of ensuring textual clarity while remaining mindful of the need to maintain a high level of scholarly rigor, without oversimplifying the inherent complexity of certain topics.
