Ante la crisis de la Moral en los últimos años, muchos reclaman una vuelta a los valores éticos y una explicación del fin último del ser humano, de la libertad, la conciencia y la ley moral, y también del sentido del pecado y la virtud: qué es actuar bien, y por qué nos conviene hacerlo. This short book outlines, above all, the biblical doctrine and the teachings of the recent Magisterium regarding the ethical conduct of the believer. In the face of the moral crisis of recent years, many are calling for a return to ethical values and an explanation of the ultimate purpose of human existence—as well as of freedom, conscience, the moral law, and the meaning of sin and virtue: what it means to act rightly and why it is in our best interest to do so. This book offers a brief synthesis of the rational basis for these concepts.
