Steven R. Hemler is President of the Catholic Apologetics Institute of North America (CAINA) and author of three other books on apologetics, including The Reality of God. Steve has a Master of Pastoral Studies degree from Loyola University of Chicago, as well as Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Civil/Structural Engineering from Virginia Tech. He has been involved in religious education for over forty years, including developing and teaching online courses for Catholic International University’s Certificate in Apologetics. After a career in engineering, Steve now serves the Church full time, and has given over 600 apologetics presentations in twenty dioceses worldwide. Steve and his wife Linda have been married for over 45 years and have three adult children and four grandchildren.
